I just received and installed the Radar Detector mirror mount that Mike Peronek makes and sells for $20. I gota say it was $20 well spent! The mount looks great and works as advertised. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a mirror mounted detector.

Now I just need to get the hardwire kit from BEL so that I can power the detector from my mirror.

 

MIKE3348? yeah, i have it too, works awesome. I just wished it was a little bit longer because i like having my mirror hand low, and when it's too low, the mount is at an angle and the radar hits the mirror or points upwards.

I didn't post pics because there are already several on the forums so I did not want to eat up space needlessly.

Search for "radar detector mirror mount" and you will find a couple of posts with pics of the mount.

 

Jun, you are right there. That was something I was thinking about just today. That would be the only improvement it requires.
