kaminari bodykit help!
Hi all....
can anyone who has that kit tell me the quality of it? does it fit without too much of a problem?
Are the skirts a replacement of the oem rocker panels or do they go on top of them?
Also, anyone dealt with hopup racing? Would you recommend them?
thanks!

how was the fit? lots of prepping/sanding?
Are the skirts a direct replacement from the stock ones?
I would really like to know your views, as owner of the kit
Thanks!

I got a urethane Kaminari kit from 350Z.org. The urethane parts fit really well and didn't require a whole lot of installation prep. If you get the rear wing it comes in fiberglass or carbon fiber. I got the fiberglass one and it required some prep work. If I were to do it again I would get the carbon fiber wing. There is also the carbon fiber hood which I didn't get. Just make sure you go to a body shop that has experience working with urethane body kits. Urethane usually takes more paint prep and painting and make sure the paint job comes with a warranty. I would also suggest bringing in pictures to the body shop of what it should look like. The enclosed instructions are crap.

thanks for your help, I already have a Nismo wing, so I'm ok from that point of view.
Good idea on printing those fab pics in the gallery of the DB Z that look like it's been done very very well!

Personally, I think the kaminari kits look like crap, but their kits fit like a glove and the quality is very good too.

I guess it's down to personal taste
