I'm assuming your car is black in which case painting the recessed part is out of the question. I'd cut the recessed part, if the finished product will in fact look the way you PS'd it.
The kit is hugely popular, and this way yours will be unique. Until I get mine that is! lol
That's one of the nice things about replicas (on top of saving $) is that you can modify it without worrying about cutting into a $2000 kit.

Yeah, but mine is the Ings wing. I think that it goes best with the half kit.

I think #2 looks the best. Pardon my ignorance, but how do they "mold" the bumper cover on? Do they just build it up and sand away? I'm stuck between the Ings+1 and the Veilside 3 kits. Man the Ings is hot.

I was actually looking at buying one of those Ings replica kits within the next few months. When it comes time, I'll see about giving Unlimited a call since you reccommend their quality.
By the way... do you know the average price difference in having the rear lip professionaly molded or just bolted on?

I have the Ings Half Kit Replica...since the rear goes OVER the stock bumper...I don't really think you can mold it and have it look right...it comes off from the body and you'd have to really taper it in and stuff...don't think it would work...i could be wrong though.

Personally I like #2 esp if you can make the middle section that is missing in #3 in carbon fiber !! I have to agree that it would be difficult to mold the spoiler over stock bumper without a lot of modification given its larger overall dimension. Looks great though...

dont cut the part out (i like #2)
there are 2 ways to mold it though
1. mold it to the extent that if you ran your finger from top to bottom your finger would not have any interruptions (looks as if its just one piece)
2. looks as if its on top of the existing bumper but still molded...this requires much less shaving and much less putty...might be hard to understand what im saying but i think you get it

I think what you mean is that the line still shows, but it's like a contour, but still it is a complete bumper? I think that would look really good.
