If he would have painted the chrome part around the projector, then the low beams would be affected, since it uses that "chrome" part to reflect the beam.
The thing about the Z's headlights is that they are really "reflector" lenses as opposed to being true projectors.

I believe $50 is painting cost. Meaning, you probably have to open up the headlight and give the guy your reflectors to get them painted, not $50 for the guy to open up your headlight, paint it, and seal them back up.

Phil, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

I was thinking about doing this but I don't know how it would look on an orange car. It might look good but I might paint them the same color as my car.

rayden - i think it would look sick on your car...especially with your black dtm's.

imcool - how long does it take for them to paint the lights? i could probably get the lights out and have time to do it during winter break since i will be able to use my parents cars then while the lights are being painted.

Wow, glad to see that was done in Miami. I have been looking for a way to black out my headlights for a while. That looks great, and for 50 bucks, damn. Now if I could get a freaking clear strip to match my front bumper reflectors. GRHHHHH!
