Ahh that does look really good how they light up as fast as the 3rd brake light.

To address what DJK commented on, would you be able to make a video of when your headlights are on... so we can see how bright/different the brake light goes from dim to stepping on the brakes?

Also, your brake light leds are the red ones right (how many leds, 15 or 12)?

Great info! Yea, I am also curious to see how much different normal illumination vs stopping illumation is. I plan on buying some as soon as I can see the difference =)

Default Quick Question...

If I wanted to do LED front and rear turn signals, would I need a load equilizer on both front and rear or just one of them? TIA

they sell two types of load equalizers, 6ohm and 3ohm, if you plan to do all four corners, just get two 3ohm equalizers on for each side, and you will be fine.

Default Load EQ

So get 4 total.....I can handle that. Thanks for the vids also. As soon as it gets done downloading, ill order my LED's =)

EDIT: I see on the website it says that one on each side will cover front and rear. Maybe I misunderstood your comment. Anyways, one per side would actually be easier as I can put it in the front where the signals are easier to reach. Anybody have any mounting tips? I heard these things get really hot. Thx

i'll later post pics of how i mounted them.

i think it came out wrong, what i meant was, if you have LED on all corners, you can get either:
a. (2) 3ohm, one for each side or
b. (4) 6ohm, one for each corner

obviously, (a) is the easier choice.

Hope that clears things up.

ok i bought every light for my Z in LED form. however i did order two 3 ohm load equalizers, one for each side. so my question is how the hell do i hook up the front and rear two one equalizer? the pic for the 6ohm and 3ohm appear the same. is there enough wire to run two wires to the front and two wires to the rear? im wondering how these are hooked up.

Jun- what did you do? all four LEDs or just the front or rear? did u use the 6 or 3 ohm equalizers and how did u hook them up?

thanks
john

LEDs on all turn signals (so 4).
the 3ohm equalizers you just need to hook it up one on each side (either the front or the rear, the front is easier to access). The equalizer has two wires, the turn signal has to wires. Just tap one wire of the equalizer to the ground wire of the harness and the other one to the power wire with the supplied clips. That's it.

sorry im still confused. so basically what i see you saying is that one 3 ohm load equalizer, hook up the same way as a 6ohm , has the ability to act as a load equalizer for both front and rear? i thought there was two wires running to both the front and the rear, to hook up in the same fashion as you said. do you know how exactly the load equalizer, 3ohm, controls both the front and the rear with it is install at either end but not both together?

thanks,
john

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyhow, i see how you install it. i guess what i dont understand is how a 3ohm unit control the front and rear, when its ONLY connected to either front of the rear. but with the 6ohm it requires you to hook it up to each LED. o well im glad i got the right stuff today. thanks JUN. your seriously helped me out. if it weren;t for you, i might have decided to catch a plane to AZ and pay "chris" about this and my refund.
