Default frost leather interior - mini poll

Currently have an '03 Touring w/charcoal leather. Thinking of trading into an '05 and going for the frost leather this time. Anyone out there with it now that wishes they didn't, let me know why. Thanks.

I like burnt orange better in most of the different color cars except redline, lemans and brickyard. Frost wouldn't look bad in SB though

Thanks for the generous offer, but I'll probably just keep what I got. Why do you regret the frost color? Too much maintenance, or something else?

Personally I love my frost. It hasn't been that tough to keep clean, and it still looks very sporty with all the aluminum trim. The nice thing about the frost is that it brings out the textures in the materials which otherwise look very plain. To my eyes it makes the interior look a little more upscale. I have a friend who has a black touring. Gave his gf a ride one time, and she asked me how much it cost to get the nice interior

Thanks ZzZ. That's useful feedback. I find the black interior flat and devoid of much contrast. I had some carbon fiber installed on the center console to offset the interior trim. It helped alot in creating some accenting and enhancement to the interior trim. Before seriously persuing a trade up, just wanted to get feedback if there were upkeep considerations to the frost, or unforeseen issues like more sunglare, etc. It might turn out to be a moot point because I really like the Silverstone color I have, but it turns out the frost isn't available with it. Thanks again.

The frost leather is to light in color. I agree that grey leather seats looks good in black cars, but the frost color offered in the Z is too light in color. If it were a good combo it would of been offer from the factory. Maybe if you had a matching frost fur hat and fur coat with the frost leather it would look good. Then you would be stylin'.

I love my redline/frost interior. It made me by the car. Very upscale euro look. Frost really does bring out the details of the Z's interior. Most people don't notice how nice is the interior. I think all the magazines that reviewed the Z vs RX8 need to revise the interior portion after seeing the Z in frost. Its that big of a difference!

I absolutely agree! I think a lot of the criticism regarding the Z's "cheap" interior is b/c the black interior becomes a little monotonous. The Frost has a variety of colors (wheel, center stack, seats, dash)...imho makes things a little more upscale.
