FS: Genuine Nismo USDM side skirts / rocker panel Urethane
For sale is a set of genuine Nissan Nismo USDM side skirts. They're urethane and will not break like the countless fiberglass copycats that looks great for about 15 minutes until you scrape that first speed bump or driveway.
I bought these used from a fellow member a year or two ago. They've been sitting in my garage waiting to be painted but never got around to doing it.
Structurally they're 100% perfect. However whoever painted did a really, really poor job and the paint peels off like rice paper. They must not have used adhesive promoter or a flex agent.
Not trusting any body shop to properly remove ALL old paint, I began to peel off the paint myself so that I know new paint will stick well to the urethane surface. From the pictures below you can see that I began to peel the paint off, rather easily. You will need AND WANT a proper paint job. Just peel off the old crap and have it done right.
As I said, structurally they're 100% perfect, no cracks or breakage anywhere!
The real deal is harder to come by. These have been discontinued for some time now. Lots of cheap aftermarket fiberglass, but the real thing like these are rare.
$600 plus shipping. If you're not interested, please take your comments elsewhere, I'm in no rush to sell. After all, they have been sitting in my garage for some time now. Thanks for looking.
This picture is the actual car that I bought these pieces from, another forum member. I hope he doesn't mind me reposting his z picture:

And here are what the pieces look like up close.

Here you can see I'm peeling the paint off, but the piece is perfect underneath!

This is what they look like on the inside, perfect!

All tabs and clips intact.
