With regard to flamers, trolls, "immature" posters, etc... Why not offer them an "Anything Goes" forum, where they can frolic with relative impunity? They can argue for page after page about religion, politics, AEBS sunken sleeves, and G35 sedans vs. Honda Civics to their hearts' content! They can curse, cuss, swear, burp, fart, and spit.

Knowing the nature of the posters and posts that would grace that forum, the rest of us could avoid it like the plague, or grab a bowl of popcorn and wade in...

 

Coincidence... there is an Anything Goes forum in the Premier Member's section. Basically, more risque content goes there, but I guess rants like you're illustrating could work there as well...

I mean, Premier Members are helping to pay the bandwidth charges for this site, so there are some benefits for them as well.
