Just wondering...how long will it be out for? I love reading that section as it gives me my daily dose of entertainment. I've been finding myself over to other forums to see these things these days. Just curious tho...how long would it be? Thanks.

Don't worry, I spent a good part of Saturday at a local web hosting/design company getting some package info and pricing. If the street racing section isn't back up by tomorrow evening, i'm going to start a non-communist 350Z appreciation forum. I emailed the admin of this site, voiced my opinion privately, and let him know my intentions. I didn't get much of a reply, but IMO this is ridiculous. None of the faithful on this site deserve to be treated like children, being sent to bed without dinner (or street racing forums).

 

iceco1d, I disagree. There are too many forums as it is, frenzy, my350z, tech, motoring, world, and some other one's. If you don't like this forum I would go over to Tech, it's pretty active and the admins are nice.

 

Unlike the street racing forum...you are allowed to disagree with me! I joined motoring before my350z, but I thought their customer service was terrible, so I joined my350z. I LIKE this forum, but I don't like being treated like a little kid. I think their ridiculous censorship of that forum is garbage. I also sent an email to the person that closed it, and I very nicely made my point of view known, I got a cocky 2 sentence reply that made reference to the number of "complaint PMs" the guy was having to answer and that "I don't have to answer them." My reply was that I would be more than happy to do any busy work or help out the site in any way that I could, so they could continue promoting and building more functionality, etc. I got no response. I asked for a response. I asked for a date when they would repost the street forum. I got ignored. I am self employed. If I treated my customers like this, I would be lucky if I could afford a Datsun Z, let alone a new 350Z. I personally, choose not to take this. I don't have to. And I won't.

 

any admins and/or mods care to answer our questions?

 

Mods have no idea about the status of this one, but perhaps Kyle will see this thread and then reopen it. Or weigh-in as to the date of the Street forum reopening.

Wow! What did I miss on the Street Racing threads?!?

 

Pictures of nude girls and hardcore ****. Had to get rid of it and lockdown the Street forum as punishment

 

That was from the thread where someone offered $10 paypal to anyone that would add a "0" to the end of his post count. Kyle was sayin that he didn't know that he could even do that and just for fun made his posts like 100,000. That's when he set it back to nothing. This post is proof that I spend way too much time on this damn site. LOL
