Sorry, I just have soo many things I still have to work on and keeping that thread going will just suck up a ton of my time, however I want you to know your point was taken and will be considered. Please understand that I am a very open minded person and have no intentions of taking away from you or other members, nor degrade the site.

 

thank you. thats all i am asking is that our opinions are being conisdered. i just dont want the classifieds to fall apart here. i really like that they are so highly visited and i like the trader feedback system... i just dont want that to go to waste because people arent willing to pay to sell. thanks

 

I think it's pretty weak that you have to pay 30 bucks to be able to put more than one line in your sig... I mean come on man. I usually don't gripe about much but that's just weak.

This is being reviewed. That's what pope and Godzilla are referring to in the above posts. We have many members complaining about scammers. So we're trying to come up with a compromise to help members from being scammed while at the same time letting the community utilize the private classfieds. Most (but not all) of the scamming problems come from people who are not members of the board for very long and we're trying to curb this trend.

 

Then just simply put a minimum post requirement before some can post in classifieds.

 

I think were already ahead of you, if only by a step Just bare with us for a day or two.

 

Hah, I'm in no hurry. I don't have anything for sell, but I just figured I would complain because it seems to be the cool thing to do around here lately.

Good job with the improvements so far and take my comments with a grain of salt.

(No but seriously, make the signatures like... 3 lines atleast. That's not too much to ask!)

Bump on what failsafe said. Wheather you are aware of it or not, deals that went sour the message bd was being blamed for even though the bd had nothing to do with the deal that went wrong but it became the bd's fault anyway.

By having the marketplace set up under the premier umbrella it curtails the potential for fraud alot and the person who might committ fraud can be 'found' so to speak with real information as opposed to a potential phonny email addy etc.

All of what is going on here with the upgrade, sigs and classified section etc. has been completed awhile ago on the g35driver site and has worked out well. Infact doing the upgrade on the Driver bd helped make the upgrade go smoother here knowing what alot of the pitfalls were ahead of time. On Driver, the sigs now appear in a more 'livable' form, the classifieds aka marketplace here, is alive and doing very well, it's all about ppl getting use to it.

how does paying for the classifieds help at all, there are people on here that have done several tradings and then they too screw people, so now anybody can pay money, become a premier member, sell a part and still screw somebody, whats losing 30 bucks when you make a few hundred or more? unless you do a background and history check for us everytime somebody pays to sell, its no different, there has to be a better way. an even a lot of premier members have a (0) trader rating, so again paying doesnt help. lets make it @.30 instead of $30, thats my contribution.
