That's odd. It works from here. The problem must be local to your computer or network.

You might have "friendly error messages" turned on in your browser too, so that might be hiding the real message.

The way it works it that it replaces a web sites' 404 pages with a built-in browser page so it always looks the same. I don't know why they have that though.

Search function worked fine for me. I just searched for info on flushing the power steering fluid which seems to be impossible to do on your own unless anyone knows how to drain all the fluid (yes, this is a subtle attempt to hijack a thread).

I'm using Firefox too, and I've never had a problem with searching before.

Not just 3 letter words...some "common" words might cause it not to work...

keep in mind, on my350z the word "volk" is pretty common....

Search needs to be FIXED ... BIGTIME. Increase timeout or something!! Come on admins!

volk works fine for me..
I'll look into it more.
Increasing the timeout could have an adverse affect on the server causing another problem..

The problem I'm having is that it takes about 17 seconds, then I just get a white screen. The terms I tried were "hello" and "great."

Oh yeah, I also tried "Work Emotion Kai Z1."

Just an FYI We are not the only board having search problems..

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...earch+problems

Its going to take me a bit to read through all of this..
Sometimes, I wish Implimenting fixes was as easy as slapping on a popcharger

One problem is that it's not consistent...

sometimes a search will eventually work if you keep trying it 5 times in a row.

Well that would still be pretty hard for me. I had enough trouble with the short shifter.
