Come on guys, fix this ghey search function! Its useless!

Oh and I did subscribe to the top 100 questions asked, and guess what, its not in my subscribed threads! Where TH is the top 100 frequently asked questions? I looked everywhere!

Okay, maybe you got him on that one, but I try and use it all the time like a good forum member, and it's a pretty serious pain in the ***. A little refinement would go a long way.

ITS only stickied under the 350z THREAD, not any of the others so therefore it should be stickied under all the threads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also noobs should be required to read the top 100 questions as part of the sign up process

 

um.... Your a Premier Member, SEARCH like it. Select "Boolean" and you should get the results you seek.

The "Natural Language" default search totally sucks.

i still think everyone overly preaches the search button. I mean i am scared to post a thread for getting flamed about searching. sometimes its such a ghey response.

 

honestly though. You should read the forums before you post questions. The answers are out there, if the search works or not.

 

^ I agree that now, the search police are way too active in all the threads. I believe the main problem with search is that we aren't allowed boolean operators. If this site extended it to non-premium members, we wouldn't have so many reposts.

say someone wants to find the best exhaust. You can't even restrict the search to contain both words. The search function will find every thread and post containing either word. That's not very helpful now is it. Just my .02cents Give us regular users boolean!
