Default Deltaforce was allowed back...let's hear why

This question is directed to our moderating staff members. Deltaforce, the wonderful member who was very recently a bane of everyone's existence on these forums and was therefore banned, is now back. Let's hear the reasons behind the reinstatement.

This is by no means meant to be a tirade towards any of you. You have an important job that all of you do VERY well. Hence it is all the more puzzling to see something like this. Within minutes of deltaforce's return, this is what the main 350Z sub-forum looks like right now:

Yes, FOUR threads. All ridiculous. All seemingly started for no reason other than his enjoyment.

Since becoming a member of this site, I have seen members banned for starting duplicate threads, posting FS items outside the marketplace, violating any of the TOUs, etc. etc. Deltaforce was calling everyone every name other than their own and starting threads by the handful at a time. So I cannot help but ask WHY this disparity in policy enforcement towards some members and not others.

Let's talk, shall we?

1) Not all bans are permanant. He served his timeout and like anybody else under a temp-ban, is welcome back.

2) If you don't like what he has to say or ask, put him in your ignore list.

3) There are a couple of members who have taken it upon themselves to follow deltaforce around and post insults, goofy pictures, etc. They are close to getting their own ban for harassment. See #2 above.

I admit his post can be a little silly, but some members enjoy the his post (He is funny). Plus the kid loves the Z and other cars just like we all do. So, school him on some things while he is around. You don't have to read his post. I am also sure the mods are watching him closely anyway.

i understand what you're saying but not all the people who visit this site are experienced members and know about the ignore list or come enough to bother with the ignore list or are even members and for them(and the rest of us) it just clutters up the forum with nonsense.

its fun for a minute but gets old REAL quick. And dont even tell me you actually take him seriously or that he should be taken seriously. Probably just some punk getting his jollies out of asking dumb stuff.

It's okay guys. When we start getting PHP or MYSQL database problems, we know who to point fingers at.

With this logic, why ban anyone?
Just have everyone put people that offend them on ignore?
