My application for job of Common Sense Moderator
So, basically, you want to be a super mod or at least an OT mod. The answer, I'm certain, will be a "no."
I wish we could delete all the stupid threads, but eh, what can you do?

.While it would be a perfect world if there weren't any lame questions asked, and all posts were on-topic and in the correct forums, and with good grammer and correct spelling, we all know that it's not going to happen. We have so many members that all it takes is a very small percent of them to become painfully obvious to the rest of us. A lot of times, I see reasonable questions asked following by dozens of "lame" replies. Do you delete those threads?
We get a lot of attention ****** who purposely start lame threads. Unfortunately, they get rewarded with the attention they so desperately crave by all the increasingly stupid and lame responses. If you (everybody) would resist the urge to reply, a lot of the stupid posts and posters would go away.
Nobody wants this board to get to the point where every post is moderated. The price for that freedom is that you have to suffer the internet equivalent of itchy, burning hemorrhoids (noobs, trolls, attention ******).
Remember, you always have the ability to add a problem poster to your Ignore list.

I agree with Chris. There is to much BS going on. Its hard to weed out the bs noobs and the noobs trying to learn.
I think the noobs should have to read the 100 things to know and then take a quiz on it just to become a member. (yea right on the interweb
)
O well. Good luck. It would be good to have.
