Thanks to the animations and the advertisements displayed just below the quick links i canot type in the quick search box, If i want to search anything i need to open the search link in a new tab or window


can we fix this?????

happens every once in a while... reset the page and you should be fine.

 

if you mean refresh, i did...even tried 3 browsers

by trade i am an IT guy so i would hope i tried all i could from my end

'quick search' even when it worked was useless. to search for anything you really need to go advanced anyway.

 

It should only happen when the flash banners are in the way- and there are only a couple of banners which are flash. I'm looking into having the search link moved slightly so the banner don't interfere. In the meantime please refresh the page -or- right click the search link and open in a new tab- which will take you to advanced search.

 

worked now, but the thing is that i could not click the advanced search button to keep the search in the same window/tab

but it worked now so no harm no foul
