If the thread stated it as clearly as it did, you should've avoided posting there. Instead, just PM romey since that's who created that thread if you have any concerns. You weren't part of the Thursday evening events that started that prompted me to create that thread. In fact, the evidence from that night was deleted and out of your view.

If you have a problem with a Mod or need to state your opinion, you can do it here. FI was not the place for it, nor did anybody twist your arm to post in there.

I had actually no idea that people were posting in that thread yesterday until I came across one of your posts in the OT forum and saw you were banned. After doing a search by your name to see why, I found that you had posted in that thread and somebody else had taken action.

Well, if the FI forum was a little more respectable and the Mods didn't have to spend several hours in there on some nights (like we did on Thursday night), then that thread would never have been created by me. Since nobody wanted to listen to the Mods' request to refrain from taking the BC thread OT, I created a venue for them to take things off-topic and suffer the consequences. Ironically enough, I wasn't even the one who took action on them, but such is life. LOL

 

Sorry, I scanned that thread last night and goofed on the mod who started the frenzy.


I'm not saying it was right to start that thread, nor would I do the same. In fact, I found it rather humorous that someone would do that for anything but a joke. However, if I posted in there despite all the warnings, I wouldn't argue with the fact that I would get banned. Hell, it was stated that it would happen to anyone who posted in the thread. It really wasn't very hard to understand. Now, like I said, I wouldn't expect to be permanently banned, but a short time ban would've been expected. Why complain? It's not like it is a life altering item. If getting banned from the site ruins someone's life, they need to go to a therapy session. (Course, maybe some mods could use therapy for creating retarded threads)


So no, I'm not retarded nor am I a sheep member, just stating my opinion and I know how to direct my complaints without pushing buttons.

 

I'm the one who created the thread for the reasons I stated above. As mentioned, you didn't see why it was created and thus you will have your own opinions - but at the time of creation, it seemed to finally quiet the place down as they finally realized that the 3 Mods who were fighting battles all night were at their last straw.

Mods can't be everywhere all the time - it's simply impossible. When you see such activity, report the post to the Mods and help them out!

Despite your frustrations that night, I thought your ban thread was wrong. I saw no humor in it whatsoever (until the "BAWLZ IN YO MOUF!!!!" post).
