Default Faq You!!!

What would be some good questions for the FAQ, I am going to build one up to reduce the amount of "Newbie" postings.

For example.........

Q: What is a grounding kit
A: A grounding kit is......... (or you can place a link to a thread that explains this).

Thanks,
- Mike

For potential buyers:

"What should I look for upon purchasing a Z?"

One of the numerous answers should include for the dealer to NOT drill holes in the front bumper to install the license plate.

Many people buying the car do not know this and when confronted with the dealer, the usual response is "you should have told us not to install the front plate." My thought is, well hell, if I knew you were going to drill two big @$$ holes in the bumper you had better believe that I would have.

In any case.... this one should be included in the FAQs.

Default really need a wheel faq

possibly a database of everyones wheel width and offsets, so that an acceptable range for every width could be calculated.

we sorta have that with the wheel gallery, but yeah a link could be given, we only have the offsets on some of the cars in the gallery tho. it was added later on, and not everyone gives offsets when they post their rims.

definitly need a clear non-biased write up of the features of the 5 models. explaining it all, thats gotta be the most asked, and for now "what is new in 2004"

Well, I meant like a chart that says

17x7, offsets 20-40
17x7.5, offsets 25-35, etc.

although it looks like pad spacing behind the spokes is as much a factor as offset for track models, since raceboy's enkei rpfs with +35 dont clear and my same width rpo2js with +35 do.

Default Not on the FAQS page, but at the top of every section...

I think there should be Note's for Installation for Exhaust, Headers, Intake, Grounding Kit, etc. have them in each section pertaining to that section. Also, the search should be improved, it sucks. And at the top of every thread, it should show who is browsing that paticular thread.

I would like to do that but there are a lot of copyright issues that I wouldn't like to get into.

Why? That would only slow the site down and we're trying to get it to speed up, remember. Mike removed the "Who's Online" list at the bottom of the main page and it really helped out. (At least for me, it did.)
