WTF is happening to the sites server?
Seriously wtf is happening? Sometimes it takes a few minutes to load and sometimes it doesn't even load.
Edit - I'm having problems loading the site as we speak.

Its not the web server. Its the MYSQL server that backs the DB. Too many connections causing it to either time out or there may be a limit set on it. Then again the DB could be fubar.

Time for someone to get up off some cash! I would donate but I just bought my Z.......LOL!
Why doesn't this site get a new, more powerfil dedicated server to handle all of the requests. If thats not enough then get two. I'm pretty sure this site makes enough money off of all the advert on here to get a new server.

Granted you could take the site down for 30 min (or so) and back up everything to a CSV/.sql, and say get a dedicated server on say www.serverbeach.com create a DB and and use something as simple as phpmysql (already provided on serverbeach) to import it...
But unfortunately its not always as easy as a direct solution.
*cough*
Edit: and as far as the requests, with a dedicated server, they could move over to MSSQL instead of MYSQL and things would be a little more robust.
