ANyone else having to wait forever and a day to access the forum? Any other site is click and no wait. And before someone suggest that i have a dial up i have had a cable for like 4 years now. I live on the east coast maybe its something with my location.

 

I've found that the forum index page often takes a while to load, but after that, remaining pages I open load quite quickly.

 

yeah... its really slow. i'm in san francisco and have cable. so i doubt that its your location.

 

Easy fix is to bookmark each section of the forum. Thats what I did.

 

Selski12's suggestion is a good way around the problem. And we know it is a problem. A fix is somewhere in the future...could be next week, could be next month...we don't quite know yet. But it will be fixed.

Accessing the separate froums directly is the best thing to do in the meantime. You can do this by bookmarking them individually, or jump between them using the forum jump field at the lower left of the page.

 

yup no one knows why but the slowness seems limited to the main forum page. if you look bottom left youll see "forum jump"

I use that all the time now, makes things much quicker.
