I could not find a section for this so I picked my favorite place with the most traffic and here I am.

It is short and simple, a need for the average CF ***** like myself.

Dear,
Moderators

Please create the following Carbon fiber sections:

DIY
Tech area

and the most important

A Carbon Fiber classified section.

When posting the tread it should as the OP "is this a carbon fiber item?" if marked "yes" then it will duplicat the tread to a special section for CF. This way people looking for exterior options will still see the CF post but more so for the solid CF ****** like me we can see all the CF out there for sale in one place! I love all CF equally and it is very frustrating looking in every subsection for my CF lovin. Please hear my cry for a reformed CF world.

You know I think you may be right, you have no idea how much time I waist going from sub section to subsection looking for that custom made CF part.

I completly understand and that is why I created this thread. I figured it would be to much for me to creat a thread asking the moderators to hard code the forum to cc me on all Carbon fiber FS threads. So I figured I would run this past you.... any way I can get CCed???? If so please send them to jeremyrobbins2001@yahoo.com. Thanks your the best!

You need to meet at least one of the following requirements to post:

* Member of the site for at least 45 days
* Post Count of 300 or more
* Be a Premier Member. To become a Premier member click here.

The biggest problem on any major forum-based site is the classifieds. Many people get scammed every day, and most people out to scam don't want any trace of them being found. They will not hesitate to take your money and run, but if it involves registration/payment on their part, they are far less likely to do so. We can't promise it will be completely stopped, but this setup will provide us with a good "paper trail" with which we can track down scammers.

I know many people that have been scammed by people on forum sites that offer free classifieds, and I'm not talking a loss of little amounts of money. It is in our best interest to protect our members and our investment.

With that being said, if you are serious about selling parts on the board, you will need to meet one of the requirements. You will not be able to respond to classifieds, but will still be able to PM the members that post them. This setup, combined with iTrader, will give us the best defense against scammers.
These rules should be changed to a longer period of time.
