i know that there are sticky's, but how about a calender of events that will be happening in that particular month? not so much detail within the calender, just the name of the event, link to the event, when/time.

for example this month for the socal section there will be 8+ event's happening in the month of december, plus the monthly meets. Threads get bumped to the top with random post while others don't. meaning, you can miss an event since it may be buried due to the lack of posts.

i was just wondering if this was thought of.. or most likely not to happen lol

 

Its a good idea. I run the NE Section and try to keep a thread with the latest events. You just need to find someone who can be the lead point for it and keep it updated. Try contacting the mod for your section to sticky it and/or update.

 

Our regional forums have a dedicated moderator who is supposed to sticky all upcoming events and unsticky them after the event.
