I figured since this is kind of forum politics it belongs here for discussion. As this is my #1 forum site and i'm assuming for most people here too, a couple things that in my opinion should be changed to improve the site would be:

• A subforum for Videos - We currently have a one thread for videos but I think having individual threads would be much better, as its retarded to go through one thread to look through video's, I'd rather spend my time searching for videos or clicking on thread that seem interesting.
  
• News thread - I have never seen a forum have this, but in my opinion the majority of threads that have to do with news links are appropriate for there own thread.

Suggestions? Input? Anyone have anything else?

 

I think for the suggestions that you posted it is a matter (for the mods) of meeting everyone's wants/needs. There is a grip of people here (me included) that could not stand the "OMG look @ this video!!" only to be linked to something along the lines of the "mi-a-hee" dude that we saw like 10 years ago.

My one pet peeve is the lack of originality sometimes seen here. There are so many topics that are just blatant reposts from either other forums, major news sites or blogs in general. I find the most entertainment inside of the threads created by member's regarding their personal lives (Nuki's daughter one was AMAZING).

In general, the website is pretty cool though!

Aside from the viruses, the rash of Vendor for sale threads. There needs to be a way to filter them out. If I want to buy something, I'll find them. I hate have to sift through them. It seems like 50% of the threads are for sale threads or a vendor bumping their threads.

 

on the topic of vendors, the one thing I hate is not listing a price. I'm sure they have a reason, but its annoying to not have any idea what a part would cost.

Instead I have to waste my and the vendors time PMing him asking for a price. If I want to shop around for a low price I have to PM 5-6 different vendors.

Its annoying enough for me that if they dont list a price, I wont consider buying from them.

 

The multitude of threads with people asking for the same things to be changed.

 

I have a canker sore on my lip, and I keep poking at it with my tongue. But that's only making it worse!

 

Pretty sure that happens in Washington too.
