We are currently discussing the idea of introducing a yearly fundraiser drive for one, or several charitable organizations which are important to the staff of this site. If this idea is implemented, one of the rewards offered for donating will be free my350z merchandise like stickers or t shirts.

With this in mind, it should be clear why we want to restrict the manufacture of items related to the site.
I guess my motive for starting this thread was because the answer I received didn't seem like a solidified answer. You replied and I quote, "I haven't got a firm answer yet, but seems the consensus is leaning towards no." What ticked me off is no reasons were provided. Under what circumstances, law, etc? Why can't I use the logo while another private company can?
That is why I wanted to see what the Z community had to say. And through the replies of others with more sound information, I have understood the situation. Its nothing personal or anything of that matter and I have dropped the idea a while ago.
