i've been on lots of other forums, but this one is killing me. I don't know if it's a kind of setting that i accidentally clicked or if this site is actually backwards but...

whenever i click on a thread, all of the posts are backwards. what i mean is this: the first post on page 1 of the thread is the most recent post (let's say post 45), and the bottom (last post) on the last page of the thread is the first post (post 1).

i'm really hoping i don't get flamed, as i really did use the search function for a resolution and went to the control panel and everything to no avail...

it's just a real pain to scroll to the bottom of the last page to see the first post and read everything backwards...

You can also set this under your control panel in "Edit Options"

 

HAHAHA!! OP, i know exactly how you feel. this was the 1st forum that was set up this way. What i didnt get was all the people putting the ""
icon up there! I says wtf is that thing pointing at?

Sucks but i messed around till i figured it out. ahhhhh being new to this forum....... Wait.... I still AM!!!!!

This forum isn't set that way - members are setting it that way themselves.

You need to go to your CP(Control Panel) and set your thread viewing options to "Linear". This places posts in chronological order...

 

Really? Hmmmmm, I remember having this problem and only fixing it once. Welp, Im losing my mind, no worries

 

okay, thanks guys, i fixed it. This was definitely the most frustrating thing i have ever experienced on a forum lol
