Anyway, don't worry too much about the calculations right now, as it seems more random than anything. If and when things get configured correctly, there will be a recount/reset for the Experience numbers to reflect the updates/changes.

 

Can I buy stuff with my points? like weapons and ammo to help our fights against the noobs

The A.I. robot that calculates experience predicted you'd whine about something has no relevance to anything important so it deducted points for being a whiney little girl.

Pfft, you're nowhere near the top. I should have a lot more points (probably near the top) based on my ridiculous post count alone, but my join date of 2020 (before changing to 2000) ruined that and gave me negative points instead.

If I wanted to, I can set the max level at over 9000! I just need to learn how to make the system do a recount (and actually have all of its features working.. with appropriate weights.. with everyone actually getting these experience bars/numbers). Basically, if it does stay, it may take a bit until things get finalized and a recount takes place.

I've seen things like this on other forums and always praised my350z for not having it. It brings down the entire environment imho and people will inevitably start posting random stuff to "level up." Just my 2 cents.

So, when you give away points, you keep your points you gave away and the recipients gets a copy of the points? I'm sending you another batch for testing purposes.


My real post count is the last 5 digits of my 1337 post count. Most of my posts are in the Mod/Admin forums, though.

It's probably related to the PPD, which is calculated using the last 21 days, with penalty points for inactivity.


We may need to do a public poll to see how you guys, the general public, feel about this.

So, I sent it (for the 2nd time), but nothing seems to have changed. It doesn't even register the recipient. Or, maybe because I already gave away these points before.

I think I know why: I have 20 infraction points at a x400 factor, which gives me -8000 points. All other positive points still leave me -2500ish. Oh well, don't care.
