From all of your previous posts, you obviously (not obvously) can't deal with us (Z owners) having a car that attracts just as much attention as yours at half the price. He's insecure? How about your 34 posts of bragging about how great/fast/cool your car is? I have much respect for the M3, but very little for you.

As far as tact goes, that's exactly my point. When a moderator posts the last word, and then locks a thread immediately afterwards because they are losing a debate, that is what you call "without tact".

Instead of TXSTYLE..I think he should change his name to TCTLSSTYLE.

 

My posts were simply in response to Z owners trashing the M3 out of their own insecurities. I never made it a point to make fun of the Z. I only responded in kind.

As far as the Z attracting more attention, with the 16 and 17 year old ricers...you're absolutely right. It's more their style and definitely more affordable for them. Most adults think of the Z as as a kid's car. A ricer. Not something they woud really want to purchase. But like I said before, I personally like the Z. I would never buy one, but I still think it's a pretty cool car.

You on the other hand, are a moron that can't read a thread. If you'd like, I'd be happy to bounce your face off of my knee a few times for you. That would make for a good laugh as well.

Granted this thread is not very 'tactful', but can see where it's coming from. True, the thread shouldn't really have been closed (well imo, didn't see the arguments getting out of hand)
M-Phibian was just adding 'facts' and he didn't really put down the Z like some put down the M3.
Guys when it comes down to it, its just a car. Why not just get to the point and drop the pants and break out the rulers. Thats really what the argument is about.
That post was showing how bimmer owner looked/talked down on the Z. And what do Z owners do, we looked/talked down the bimmer. Are everyone so insecure that they have to talk down other cars to make theirs car better?
I would like to know why the thread was closed, just out of personal curiousity.

Txstyle, granted this thread was a personal attack by M-Phibian, but figure (being a mod and all) that your response would've been more mature. Instead of furthering this pissing contest, think that M-Phibian and Txstyle should keep it to pm to work it out and respond back when a resolution is set (maybe another mod can mod on an unbias base) Just a thought.

True a point can be discussed without name calling or trash talking, but a few Z members had their share of name calling as well. Granted there was name calling, trash talking, etc.. a mod should have said so before it got to the point of closing the thread. Don't think I've seen any strike or warning in that thread, so thats why I wonder why it was closed.

 

It's cool. I'll be the 1st to admit that we (mods) can't/won't catch ALL of the Bad threads instantly. But I do my best in trying to keep the peace. Which I'm confident most members here would agree.
But sheesh..........That guy was a complete jackarse without question. That was VERY apparent with the begining of this post. And instead of just deleting it, I left it as an example of what constitutes a BAN.

I thought that's what mods do, shut down useless threads.

I wish you could mod at the other forums I peruse at, as they're too many useless threads that are just allowed to continue.
