Default 'My Recent Posts' search result format

Something weird starting happening when I search for my recent activity using the 'My Recent Posts' function. It used to return a list of threads, and now it seems to be showing posts instead of threads....and not necessarily in the order of most recent. Then there is a link near the top of the results to show "threads" instead of "posts", but when I click it, it says that no search criteria were found etc etc, and I have to manually type in my username and search by recent activity.

Any ideas?

I'll throw my vote into the hat of "Do Not Want."

The setup stinks. I'm sure it's a glitch.

Yeah, I want to see the threads I've posted in the last 7 days, not my individual posts. Fix this chit!

Try instead to just click the button itself and not any of the dropdowns

That works the same for me as it always has since I don't select anything but the "My Recent Posts"

Post up screen shots of the offending results, please. IB Admins would like to see what we're talking about.

It works fine for me?

You guys are just clicking the " My Recent Posts" and once it activates the dropdown press "My Recent Posts" again

No. I get the result that I posted by mousing over the 'My Recent Posts' tab, then clicking any one of the options that drops down.

If I do as you suggested, i.e. mouse over 'My Recent Posts' and then click on 'My Recent Posts', it returns all most recent posts from the entire forum, not necessarily pertaining to me. i.e., I clicked 'My Recent Posts' at 10:17 and it returned a list of threads with the most recent post at 10:16, 10:15, 10:14, etc.

EDIT:
The only way I can get the results that I used to get from the "My Recent Posts" quick function is to go into the Advanced Search section, search for posts made by 'sry110' and manually filter the chronological range for the search.

I hope you can fix this ASAP. I also frequent NASIOC, which does NOT have the quick 'My Recent Posts' function, and I have to say it is a breath of fresh air having that feature available here.

I don't think Waizz is understanding what we are saying. When we used to click "My Recent Posts" from a week ago, it would show us the THREADS we posted in, not our individual post and that thread. What was good about that was you just got to see if a thread was updated, not every stinking post we made. Also, when you do click "My Recent Posts since last week" it doesn't even give you the post recent post, more like 6 days ago. I don't see why this was changed because if someone really wants to see their individual post then they can just click on their own name and hit the "find more posts by joeblow". 'My Recent Posts" should display only THREADS that you've posted in, not individual posts.

Agreed. For whatever reason all of the search parameters being set by the 'My Recent Posts' function seem to be irrelevant.
