I'm going to do some snooping to see when this changed. It was there on the first 1/2 of my shift, then..... sniffsniff, she was gone

 

so... something that i noticed in your screen shot... bottom right corner you have it set to 150%, maybe changing it back to 100% will let it show in the screen again

I iz trying! It gives me 2 new options. Contacts pop up and mark as unread or some crap- works fine on my phone though.

Im starting to think those tunts updated internet Explorer and it got worse ( as if IE wasn't crappy enough already)

 

hence the name internet exploder. at work they use IE8 and no issues there. by the screen shot you are using 9. try putting it in compatibility mode

I just made up a soap opera background in under 2 sentences.

 

The "Quick Links" is still there. I know why you can't see it, though, so I can tell you what happened or try to explain it as best as I can. I'm assuming the "problem" should have "fixed itself" if you closed your browser and reopened it, however.


Why that happened:
You opened a new tab/window by clicking "Quick Links" either via 3rd mouse button, ctrl + left mouse click, or right click and open in new tab/window. Since "Quick Links" is normally a drop down menu, when you open it in a new tab or a window, some of the options (i.e., new posts, mark forums read, open contacts, etc) will show up on that bar instead of coming down in a form of a drop down menu.

It's kind of hard to explain so you might have to try it to understand it better.

 

I don't know that this is the case. Maybe though. I have always clicked, then dropped down to "Subscribed Threads" and opened in a new tab. Maybe I fat fingered it? I have to be careful and not greedy at work since the forum is supposed to be blocked. But for whatever reason it lets me stay on here I guess I can't be too picky when screwing off at work.

It's really not a big deal. I was just at the end of my shift and grumpy that it wouldn't internetz for me.
