Is it just me or is this site super slow? It seems like it takes forever to load pages, and I know it's not my browser because everything else is amazingly fast here at work....also this site is slow at home and everything is perfect, what gives? Is this website low on bandwith capabilities or what?

This place is performing more like a www.mycorolla.com

This website has always been bad for multi tasker's, i don't know about the rest of you guys but I like to open up more than one post at a time, and if you do that with this website, it takes forever.

Just thought I'd offer my $.02, and if the website needs to be slower for you guys to afford it, so be it.

Yes, the PREMIER 350 Z website has progressivley been getting slower. It is now to the point where it feels like I am back on dial up connection......I use Road Runner at home and T1 at work....

I too thought it was me, but other sites load just fine and fast!

I hope this can be fixed soon.....I hate waiting 5 seconds to read one post then another 5-8 seconds to get back to the forum list I was on...ughhhh!!!

Thanks

Ban.

More users = more traffic
more traffic = less bandwith
less bandwith = slow.

I notice that JmanZ's "site" has been showing error messages lately instead of his delayed grand opening page.

Maybe he has hacked into his old site through a back door and is wreaking havoc in revenge of Victor's domination of the 350Z world and IS SECRETLY PLOTTING TO TAKE OVER THE 350Z WORLD BY CRASHING THIS SITE!!!!!!

.....or maybe it's just increased traffic and decreased bandwidth

hahaha doc, you always bring me laughter...

i think i know the problem i just need to contact takao's webmasters to do a quick fix.

there is a partition that needs to be cleared once in a while and it hasn't been cleared for quite some time.

once we clear it, everything should be up to speed.

Offtopic, but how do you make a 404 page show up everytime someone enters a bad path within your webspace?

Like this:

If you are running apache...

You have to create a
.htaccess file in the main directory(public_html) with the following line in it:

ErrorDocument 404 <url of the page to display>
[Without the <>]

You can have the pages for the following error codes:

ErrorDocument 500
ErrorDocument 401
ErrorDocument 403

The graphics load up fairly quickly. The reason why the site is slow because the database server is slow.

The speed really has seemed to take a turn for the worst over the past few weeks. I have found myself checking out other 350Z sites and reading threads off of them while waiting for a page change to occur on this site.

Vic, for the love of all that is good, PLEASE get them to do it. It takes FOREVER to navigate this site. Hell, I'm reading e-mail in between pages loading and I'm on a really fast cable line!
