is it possible to create a newbie corner?

I think this section could contain locked threads that address many newbie questions or definitions of commonly questioned topics.

the idea is that a person, new or not, can view some compilation of information.

I have lots of ideas swimming in my head but have not really focused them yet. I would be more than happy to help compile data and convert it to information.

a dictionary component might be cool

plenum =
sequential turbo =
edfc =
etc, etc, etc.


I just wanted to throw the idea out there and get some feedback. maybe that will help me focus the idea some if it is truly viable.

maybe a form could be created in the control panel that lets people fill in what mods they have by category. the forms will continually update a bar graph which display who has what.

hopefully a good way to sort the results could be implemented so that all the like responses (eg borla) would end up in one category and not spread into multiple categories due to spelling errors.

three people post in the exhaust portion of the form

1: borla true dual
2: borla td
3: barla

some intelligent sort method could be developed to group all the borlas into the same category despite variances in the data.
