Yeah, a lot of 'em did. I'm 38, my fiance's 26, and it blows my mind at how many 80's songs she knows.. "Africa" by Toto came on the other day and she starts singing. I'm like, "You know this?" It's cool though.

 

good song, but i like In Africa by Derb better (yep, 43 and listen to electronic music still)

And spotify threw Africa on for me the other day. I go through a ton of music cycles and of them happens to be jamming to older songs the way they were meant to (minus the psychedelic shrooms).

Technically speaking, that's true.

But my formative years - where all the things I did then stuck with me for life - were the '70s. Y'know..... Partridge Family, Pink Floyd, Chevy Novas and Datsun S30s, that sort of thing.

Yeah, yeah, was one of them with a thing for Susan Dey. (Which she was welcome to.) Hahahahahahaha.....

Today, I'm acting like I'm 24 but with a slightly larger budget.

BTW, was kidding about "8673509".... knew that song but didn't realize that silly thing was from the '80s! Thought it was from the '60s!
