Hello,

My 2004 350Z will not shift into reverse, does anyone have any suggestions on what it could be? I had the clutch replaced last year, I was driving it this weekend and 1st through 6th are fine just will not shift into reverse.

If anyone could let me know, I would really appreciate it.

The guide plate that provides the detent for selecting reverse may not have been tightened properly by whomever did your clutch change and has possibly moved, preventing your selecting reverse. Download the mt.pdf portion of the Service Manual and look at the section titled SHIFT CONTROL.
