Default Anonymous access for non-members?

Read only, but not being able to post? By invitation only of course, so bots can't get to it.

I think this would be awesome cause I like to send links to pics to my friends, but they cant view them since they havent set up an account. Many of them are too lazy to set them up too.

Well, the invitation would contain a string that would allow anonymous access during that "session." So its not an invitation to join the forum, it's just an invitation to check out the thread. This way your friends who don't want to register could be able to view the thread without a problem.

I'd like it if non-users can at least read the threads. There have been many times where I've wanted to have a non-350Z owner (but fellow car enthusiast) read a thread on here w/o having him go through all the trouble of registering.
