you mods on this forum are lame....just cause someone is being told that their idea sucks you have to go and "serve and protect". bah humbug!

 

It wasn't me who closed it, but come on, the poor guy had suffered 14 pages--that's enough. Besides, it has become a back and forth gripe between just a few people. You took plenty of opportunities to voice your opinion, as did several others. The thread had it's day in the sun, and now you can go back through it whenever you wish--it hasn't been deleted, just closed. Get over it.

Also why do we only ever get responces from 1 or two mods like 350zspeedracer and nbdys during problems like this?

this site is great and I love it but its going downhill fast....

 

I only said get over it because you have a nack for griping about every little thing--it gets old, and if you expect me to be super nice all the time, I should be able to expect the same from you.

And I've posted a thread in the mod section to find out who did it and for an explanation for you. Hopefully, we'll get an answer, but it's not like we're all online at the same time, calling each other, talking about every little thing that goes on with this site. We're on here in our spare time, and that time is different for each of us. So, yet again, please have some patience with us when you have questions or concerns.

i want the moderator who closed it to explain himself....since all of you close threads for different reasons.

maybe they should put a last post and explain why it's being closed before they close it....but...not everyone is as smart as i am!

 

Its been brought up before and I'll bring it up again. Whoever closes a thread should have to type an explanation for its closing. Also their name should be displayed. Its very immature to close a thread without any explaining why to the board. Explain yourself oh great thread closers. I'm sure most of us would love to hear your well thought out reasons.

Most of the mods disagree with each other and board members in the political threads. Why aren't those closed? People are fighting / disagreeing, threads become heated but those threads are left untouched.

Oh wait thats called "debating" whan politics are involved.

Come on people get off your powertrip.

This isn't for all of the mods, only a select few that know who they are.

The political threads we watch to try to keep them from getting personal. Debating ideas is one thing, flaming people is different.

I'm not saying a political thread has never gotten personal, but strikes are issued and threads are locked in those as well.

i could care less about the political threads....i was just making a point....which, obviously, you didn't catch. (if you read more of my posts on the board...you would know i'm very sarcastic and can't stand when people close threads cause we're picking on trolls)

if they close something cause it offends someone....why aren't those closed? they close other threads because someone was offended....but not those.

i'm not offended because of those...i don't even read those. this is a car forum...not a political forum.

 

Agreed, Also all of the threads that display animal abuse offend me. I'd request all of those be closed.

exactly. i remember the thread a while back that said "free cat" and when you opened it to look at it it was a cat that had been run over and was dead on the side of the road with a sign "free cat". that stayed up and half the people on the forum were offended.

if you want this whole forum to be PC....stick to your guns and close everything that might offend ANYONE. don't pick out what only offends you.
