i kinda think its ridiculous to be strict at all when it comes to **** and ***....this a car website for people with 350z's....a majority of the people on here are going to be older...i can understand you dont want hardcore **** but if its just some **** or some ***** whats the big deal? i think 98% of the people on this website would wanna see that and dont mind seeing that...on the other hand there are some girls on this website but if the thread says Z BABES! im sure they are gonna think what they possibly might see....not a big deal! open it back up!

you might think its work safe but its not. most forums go under the firewall radar. otherwise those pictures wouldn't pass a firewall.

and if you want to argue...take the last pic you posted (2 girls naked) go into HR and show them. tell them its yours. before you do that though post your resume on monster.com.

I'm not directly involved, but I agree with the others, Vic... in order for us to not "cross the line", we need to know what "the line" is in your eyes. Some people may have a more liberal view than what you consider acceptable. This would be a good starting point to keep an acceptable off-topic babes thread running.

***That said***... I have no issue whatsoever with Vic closing the thread if he feels the pics went over the line. This is a car website... not a model/babe website. Further, the title of the thread is "Z-Babes", so someone new to the site might view it actually expecting to pics of girls with cars... not many of those recently.

Personally, I stopped frequenting the Z-Babes thread long ago because it strayed (very much so) from its original intent. It went from being a "Z-Babes" thread to "Let's post pics of any hot piece of a$$ we can find" thread.

Probably, Vic should give us a clear definitition of what is acceptable AND, once that is done, someone should begin a new thread clearly labeled as a "Babes" (don't try to sugar coat it by pretending to tie it in to Zs somehow) and, if necessary, put a NWS warning on the title.

You'll never get an answer from Victor except what he said already. Why do you ask?, Because he has been inconsistant with this "rule" and others on the board. He will not define "questionable pics" because we all view "questionable" at different degrees I assume. He won't make any replys except his childish answers, example,

Well Victor is right , There are plenty of other 350Z sites out there that aren't proudly run by someone that enjoys being called a dictator.

i still feel it was an overreaction to close the most popular thread on the board. like mentioned above anybody who wouldnt want to see it shouldnt go into the thread. im not saying to actually allow nudity but i didnt see any there

I don't recall LBSOHK's pictures specifically but I did see pics on the thread I thought were not appropiate.

Why not just post the girlie stuff there and keep the pics here on a family level?

Admining a site like this is not an easy task. I don't agree with all of Mike's calls but I'm pleased he will make a call & act on it.

To repeat: If your not happy here, there are lots of other sites on the net; go find one more to your liking.

There was one pic that made me have to Alt-Tab it right away. Don't get me wrong, I totally enjoyed it. I don't think it's so much that Victor doesn't want us to enjoy as that he doesn't want those of us who're browsing while at work (or maybe even at school) to get in trouble.

Having said that, it would've been nice if some of the pictures could've just been deleted with a notice via PM. Then again, considering the past week, maybe that would've been too many PMs.

But I do miss the spirit of the thread though. If we start taking work-safe pictures of girls next to Z's, can we re-open the thread? Pretty please? With sugar on top?

people just get carried away when the Z + Girl pictures get all posted and nothing more is out there.

Every site I'm a member of, the off topic section is just that, OFF TOPIC. "This being a car forum" argument doesn't seem to hold much water to me, right???

To some of the others, you are at work/school, looking at a "car forum" , while on the "clock", and then you click on a thread titled "Z Babes". Do you not think there might be something thats NWS??? ??? ??? ???

I think frustration steems from inconsistency in "dictatorship".
