Wow is this great to see an exodus like this. This site has it it coming to it and im glad to see you all finally doing something about it. See you all at tech and motoring.
For the admin and owner you now see what happens when you **** on your members one too many times. Months and months of people asking for something to be done and just to be ignored.

There really is no point on staying on here. I will probably follow up on the last few threads here that I posted in before the site went down and then I am spending 99.9% of my time at either motoring or tech and 100% of my money with the sponsors of those forums. It is sad that the Admin left this site go downhill so fast...

Disturbing
One thing that gets me is in none of the feedback threads about the site being down do any of the people responsible for the site chime in. Nobody is letting us know why the site is down so much.
The guys at ********** sent out e-mails, and posted topics, and even made banners when the site was going to go down for server migration.
I guess customer service is lost in the mix over here. Too bad there are (or were) alot of great members here.

Re: Disturbing
It all depends on what the site owners want to do. Check out http://www.vwvortex.com This is the perfect example of a site that was in very bad shape just a year or so ago.
I remember when the forums were constantly slow and frequently unavailable and they tried various things like shutting off certain features like search to let up on the resource usage. It simply continued to go downhill.
Now they go down for brief periods when forum maintenence is being performed and the forums run well all the time. They are a larger forum than here and allow posting of pictures and other resource and/or bandwidth intensive things.
Point is, the problems of this forum *can* be fixed, it just depends on the folks in charge...

In a way this is scary. The current lack of attention from anyone in power at this site is amazing. I have seen no recent posts from Victor or any of the sponsors. Is this site just going to fade away? It was great while it lasted.
Are any of those "Z" sites mentioned above "G" friendly? Yes, I go to freshalloy and g35driver, but both of those sites members seem to love to argue (lots of kids) and lack the knowledge and team spirit we have here. gownershome is not worth my time.
I guess as the lack of support dwindles here, the site will just fad away.
Too Bad

Also notice there has been no apologies nor explanations from any mod or admin about the site going down. How very sad and absolutely pathetic.
