It all depends on how an engien is tuned. You can stroke a kit and still keep very good top end power, you just need to tune the car properly, and use components that can handle the higher rpm wear and tear.

Some people will disagree with me, and that's fine. I know some people hear 4.3L and start drooling and nothing else matters. I'm just saying that my personal feelings are very much against the stroker setup. Feel free to disregard them, and enjoy your purchase.
