I am starting to save for my FI and have a couple of questions for Stillen Stage 1 SC owners. Has anyone installed themselves? How hard/long did it take you? Any problems? Any engine issues when you were done, etc...? Any special tools< Any other mods that have to be done with the install? Cams, etc...?

My issue with having someone install it for me is, there are no realyy good shops in Detroit except Godspeed. This is big three country. I am better off going with do-it-yourself help here.

I installed the stage 2 myself. took about 14 hours. stage 1 should take about 10. Its very straight forward and Stillen includes very comprehensive instructions.

 

First, did you get the warranty with your SC. Second, how aere your power gains?

 

1st, I bought it 2nd hand, so no warranty, and 2nd, I got 340 at the wheels with stage 3, 300+ torque at 2000 rpms
