I'm running the Zeitronix Zt-2 unit and it's a great cheap option. The only drawback is that the only gauge they offer looks like azz. I decided not to get it and only hook it to the laptop when I need to datalog or get data from it. Works great!

My understanding is that the sensors will require replacement every couple of years because of their contact with the fuel....can't be helped.

Is that true?

 

theres a group buy for the zeitronix wideband going on right now till the end of Jan I think........I',m having trouble getting the link to work ( if someone could pm me the correct way to do that I would appreciate it), but it can be found in the FI forum.

As far as replacement for the o2 sensors I know that running the car excessively rich contributes to failure, but I'm not sure on durability for extended time periods.

 

The Bosche wideband O2 sensors included in all of these kits are designed to last 20,000miles or less. They dont hold up very well in the long term. But no worries, most of the replacement 02sensors are around $50-$75.
