No I'll post up all the specs on the motor. It's not a stock engine.

The motor has aftermarket rods and pistons and an 8.5:1 compression ratio. Nismo cams, and the ssr engineering intake manifold.

Number look great!! I can't wait to get this kit on my car. I know I will be able to get the numbers I am trying for with the SSR kit.

uplz4588 01-21-2005 04:12 PM

so is this tuned or untuned? and is that all the boost your going to be running... seems kinda low for a built motor.....

Those numbers are not low at all. They are only running 13.8 PSI and for that PSI those are good numbers.

uplz4588 01-22-2005 05:38 PM

by low i didnt mean the #'s i ment is that all the boost they were going to be running... i thought built motors can handle a lot more boost... sorry for the confusion...

turbo-maxima 01-22-2005 05:45 PM

not everybody wants to run more than 1 bar on a daily driven car. If you run more than 1 bar you have money to waste on tires and fuel.

Sorry I misunderstood your statement. Yes the built motors are capable of hanlding well into 20PSI. So 13.8 is kinda on the low side, but 500+whp is already crazy for a street driven car.

Congrats on your numbers. What size waste gate springs do you have?

No there are no driving vids yet, we will try to get some up soon.

We supply our kits with .4 bar springs (5.8psi) On this vehicle we used .8bar springs with a manual boost controller.

Could you do an overlay with the standard kit's curves? Are the same turbos used on this setup?
