I hear that crap response every time someone puts up their pics of a new kit. If you did a search you could find the original thread on the kit for the g35. Give them some slack...just ask nicely and I am sure they will post the g35 dyno sheet for you.

the kit seems to be pretty nice. it's costly but, it seems to have some nice quality parts with it.

i was surprised the with the kit you don't need to retard any timing. they have a G35 coupe auto that has had the kit since summer of last year. with no problems.

They have to have some timing control.....all the FI kits for the 350Z do.....except the ATI Procharger...and look what happened there.

I think they run the same Splitsecond box as the Vortech unit.

that what i was saying but, tim from speed force racing and albert from ssr, said that nope no timing was retarded. i believe with the splitsecond box you can choose to retard if you like.

kamal has the kit and hasn't retarded timing either. i'm not sure of tinman. these guys are on g35driver.com website. both have G35 coupes auto.

The kit looks great but why would I buy this over the APS TT kit?

thats what has me torn now. at least with the Z you guys don't have to change your front bumper. us G guys will have to change the front bumper in order to give the intercooler enough air flow. at least the ssr kit offers twin intercoolers for us G35 guys. other than that i really don't see another other major differences.

someone more experienced in FI may notice some other changes. if so please point them out.

i dunno if i would say SSR copied APS intercooler design...

Didnt SSR show us pictures of this turbo system in development like a LONG TIME ago... like before APS kits were being displayed? I could be wrong, but I could swear they had something like that a long time ago, no?

Besides... theres only so many ways to run pipes, I dont know if I would try and yell copy cat... its just piping.

there was an ssr kit on a G35 since last spring or summer. i'm not sure about the Z's kit though. the intercooler fins on the G's kit goes horizontal not vertical.

I stilll dont understand why people charge ridiculous amounts for the turbos for the Z.... jezuz... almost 8 grand just for the kit, both SSR and APS.... u guys killing on the prices here... must be over 50% profits just there.... absolutely ridiculous.... i mean even the supercharger kits that are out, I was talking to a friend that has a Z in NY and he said they are almost identical to a mustang supercharger that he found, and with slight modifications can be put rite into the Z.... the supercharger with intercooler and install runs you less than 2 grand.... i guess u guys just think all of us import people just dump money.... insane.....

Good job guys, the kit looks nice.

I'm also running a single turbo kit that SFR build for my VQ35. I had it for about a year already and I haven't had any problems.
