Feeler GB on new GReddy Type-RS bov
As everyone is probably aware of now, GReddy has come out with a new and improved bov Type RS. This bov has a bigger discharge port that would be ideal for those of us here planning to run higher psi. I was wondering if there is enough interest in getting the new bov through a GB. I realize that there are alot of different types of bovs out there, but I am confident I can get us a good deal through my sponsor.
Here is a pic and some verbage regarding the new bov:
Greddy introduces the RS their new blow off valve. Equally as innovative as their Type S blow off valve which is one of the most popular unit which is used by enthusiasts worldwide. The RS features a lower profile as far as height and has a 40mm opening which is 4mm bigger than the Type S. For installation, the same flanges can be used that fit the Type S.
Key Features:
Eight discharge ports that draw in surrounding air.
Features a 40mm hard anodized valve for increased airflow and durability.
High quality diaphragm and short stroke which significantly increase response.
Optional discharge adapters for rerouting discharged air.
Dual spring system which promotes response and allows for high boost pressures.

Well, like any good Group buy, the more people we get into the GB the better the price will get. Since this is just a "feeler" right now, I don't have any price/people numbers yet. But I can say it will be less than 180 shipped.
BTW, you can use the same flange thats used for the Greddy Type S. All you would have to do is switch them out without any need to reweld anything.

I might be interested..but have you considered the HKS super-sequential? It's a better design, and roughly the same price. Might be one to look into as well.
The only drawback is that those with the Greddy Type-S will have to cut and reweld a new flange on there.

^^^Correct^^^
Since I think a bunch of us have the Type S, if you decided to do the GB on the HKS, you would need to weld a new flange on there.
I might be in either way....I'd be interested to see what other people think.

Answer to above q;s:
Nitrous, the Type S will work, but you need a new flange, and possiblly a new section of piping to close off the recirculating portion of the APS intake tube. (a picture would be worth a 1000 words right now)
The Type RS is a street version of the Greddy BOV. The Type R is a race version, designed for higher boost levels...probably greater than 15-20psi....and to be honest....it doesnt have the visual appeal of the Type RS--read...its ugly.

Sorry guys, been away for a while. It was one of those days.
Anyway, we are looking at a great price on the GReddy type RS.
165 shipped as long as we get 5 orders. It seems like theres alot of interest so I need a few people to chime in and I will get this GB started.
