What gauges do i NEED!!
Well i just ordered my twin turbo and i really want to know what gauges are a must. Obviously boost but what about fuel/air, exhaust temp, etc. Please give me some insight before i waste some needed mula. Thanks.
Fuel/air,boost, and egt are the basics. Some of the gauges have more features than others....memory for logging, alarming, etc....there are some nice systems out.
Since you just ordered your TT system(congrats by the way!!!)....if you are not going to do the install yourself.....find yourself a good tuner shop, and check out his stock. There is a lot out there to choose from....the question is what is your budget!

Bare minimum gauges would be boost and wideband afr. The rest would be good to have and then you reach a point where you just have them for show. Personally, I have Defi boost, oil press, egt and AEM wideband.

In order of importance..I like this
1) Boost
2) Wideband AF
3) Fuel Pressure...with our overtaxed fuel systems, people sometimes overlook how important the fuel pressure is. If you see your fuel pressure dropping...you are in a very dangerous situation. Lot of us are running rising rate FPR's, and return systems, so you should see 52psi at idle..and 1:1 increase as boost increases.
4) EGT
5) Oil Temp
I am running the first three.

Somewhat off topic, but shouldn't the base fuel pressure be adjusted based on the size of the injector. Once you have the pulsewidth as low as you can take it, you might have to adjust the base pressure to allow the car to not run rich at idle. Small problem for those of us with huge injectors.
