Looking to see if any have hit the street yet for some unbiased installations/reviews!

More pics/videos/impressions would really be nice.

I'm hoping that this kit works on 2005 Z's around the time the APS ST kit comes out so I can make up my mind.

The kit is 75% finished; I had to get some custom exhaust work done since I have/had a Borla true dual exhaust. The fit and finish of this kit is amazing. The black chrome puts you in a daze. My installer has agreed to work with Turbonetics regarding the installation manual so I have a feeling my car is also being used as a beta tester, I'm going on my third week without my car. The installer already has a baseline dyno so we should have some true before and after figures. I've already learned a few cheap tips that might gain more hp with this kit, more details to follow.

I have feeling Mia's cars will be finished around the same time.

Are you guys saying the kit is not yet completed? That's weird because we ordered one and it should be here tomorrow. It didn't come with a installation manual since your tech is working with turbonetic to complete it??
I think I have to make a phone again tomorrow.

You can view the installation manual on this forum. Maybe he meant he is just suggesting they add a few things. 3 week install, that must suck. Then again I think everyone understands this isn't a one weekend install since you have to mail off your ECU.

Isn't 3 weeks kinda long for a supposed 10-14 hr install?

How can it be a 10-14 hour install when it takes at least 3-5 WORKING days to get your ECU flashed?

The ECU time is in the install instructs...This is the first install besides my car and I'm sure having to custom make exhaust piping doesn't take a day. Hey keep what else are you installing right now.

My kit has been delivered and I'm hoping to install it within a few weeks. Since I live close to Turbonetics I'm hoping they'll let me drop by and get my ECU flashed to avoid having to wait for shipping. MIA, think they'd be willing to do that?

Red,

The Borla resonators are definitely gone. It's pretty interesting how everything came together, I will definitely post pics.

Steve and others,

Please keep in mind this kit only takes 2-3 days to install and my car is not a good example of instal time. My installer is juggling three cars right now. If I got a 100% of his time, the installation manual edits weren't involved and I wasn't getting custom work done this would have been done in 2-3 days. I think the car sat in his shop for 4 days with no work being done.

That's good news. I called my shop for a quote and the guy on the phone told me 2 weeks @ $1500 . I told him he was crazy, and eventually talked to the mechanic and he said a week @ $1000 tops, which sounded much more reasonable.

I figure, at very worst:

10-12 hours for kit.
2-3 hours for fuel return lines.
2-3 hours for guages.
3-5 days for ECU.

I also received the kit today which there was instructions supplied.
I totally forgot the kit uses ecu flash so yea it does take longer down time.
I'm still wondering exactly how many hours this kit would take to install. I guess I'll find out soon.

If TS is doing the flash you should get the ecu on the 3rd day. I shipped my ecu for a l-spec flash on a Monday and I had it back Wednesday morning.
