I went out to start my car today and it wouldnt start at all . Got it to fire by giving it gas , but died right away . Checked the codes and got a 1121 and 2135 code . The 2135 is a TP sensor code and the 1121 is throttle control acuator code . ANy one get this before ? Hate to think I got to have it towed to the dealer to have them check and fix it .
Ive been having a idle problem....it was idling fine and then it would go lean for a few seconds and then recover . And a couple times it would start and die and start and die . To keep it running I would have to rev it for a few sec and then let it idle . The next time it would start fine

 

I got the 2135, but not the 1121. It appears to me, in my case, to be entirely heat related -- runs great with no codes when outside air temp is below 70-75, but the hotter the air temp gets, the quicker it goes into safe mode and throws a 2135.

My Z is forced induction as well (18 psi at 7,100 rpm - forged internals). The only thing I can figure is something in the electronic throttle control actuator goes haywire when it gets super hot. All diagnostic voltages check good, but those are done with just the ignition on or engine at idle.

Did you ever resolve your issue? If so, what was the solution? The problem is driving me to drink! Thanks!

 

Wow...Long time ago . I believe mine was just a wiring problem , related to my Datalogger and EMU [ SplitSecond ] . Sorry I cant be of help

 

Have you changed the cams? of so, mine had a problem with that too, the ccar kept on stalling after i installed the cams. i took it to the dealer and they sorted it all out using a program to reset the computer
