I found this on the Stillen site, it is their new project car and I can't help but notice that the new hood looks a lot better than the one I have. It also appears to have the proper clearance for the supercharger.

I don't know if they are coming out with it or when, but it looks pretty good to me. I think I just might have to get one eventually (propably when the wife is away for a week).



PS - I know this isn't technically for the FI forum, but I figured this would be the group that might be the most interested.

 

the lines carried down the hood to the front appear as if they would flow really well into the two lines brought down on the GSC front lip that is coming out.

I like it.

I was out there and saw that car 2 days ago. I don't really care for the horizontal lines at the front of the hood, but like the new scoop. I've got some pics on my camera phone I need to download.

 

Please do, did they mention anything about when it may be coming into production?

It really figures that they would come out with something new like this about a month after I got my hood. I wonder if they will offer discounts to current owners?

To me, it looks more natural and functional. The old one was just about clearing the SC, this one seems to have some thought and style.

 

I didn't ask, didn't notice it until I was on my way out of the parking lot.

The hood you saw is a prototype. We haven't committed to releasing it to the public yet. If we do, it will probably be at least a few months.

Looks like it still needs some work, but they are on the right track.

just like their original hood looks better in person, this too looks better in real life.
