Oh, I see your post on the APS Super Group Buy thread. I understand why people are upset about it but also I understand why APS is protecting their dealers. They want ensure a certain profit level for all of them not just some who are willing to lowball.

Oh well, if your leave this GB, for just that reason (no other, financial or otherwise) then you're hurting your fellow Z/G owners that are in this GB and not just APS. Stay in it and enjoy your new toy.

Brian, just to clarify something. In my GB, I was not "lowballing". $500 off MSRP and free shipping is about the same level of discounting as you are seeing in this single turbo kit GB. Just wanted to make that clear, becuase there are bad connotations associated with the term "lowballing", which I certainly am not.

This was also intended as a one time GB, with no intentions of discounting like that in the future.

Sorry for the hijack.

Sharif, you know I've tried to help your GB and G owners by posting this GB on g35driver. I wasn't referring to you but the supplier selling to you was possibly lowballing compared to other suppliers. So you're saying you decided to take a much lower profit margin, not your supplier. If that's the case then I understand your and your customer's frustrations. Maybe there's a way to work something out with APS directly. Peter/APS seems to be reasonable and no other dealer has stepped up with a TT GB.

Maybe because APS wants you to commit to a certain amount of inventory first. But what do I know?

I hear ya, but APS only sells to authorized dealers, that have retail locations, dynos, etc.

The suppliers wholesale prices were very consistent across the board. I was the one take a lower profit margin, not the supplier....or APS.

I know you helped by reposting the G35 site, and I do appreciate that....I just didnt want people to get the wrong impression about my company. Thanks!

And I wouldn't either. You're a good guy and I hope this works out and your new company is a great success.

Since 350zmotoring isn't back up yet, maybe someone should contact GRD and just tell them to see what the sponsor fee costs here or post the GB on another 350z board (tech, frenzy, etc).

Ah, okay then... How about a song called "Forced Induction" Cool name for a song don't you think? Just getting the APS ST should be all the inspiration you should need for the music and lyrics to flow.
