Default TT owners with Greddy EVO II

I am thinking of getting a custom job on my greddy evo II. What do you guys think about having a muffler shop making it true dual by fabricating two pipes that would replace the y-pipe/x pipe (what ever you want to call that thing) that comes with the evo? I was looking under my car today and it seems kinda of restrictive where it connects into one pipe and then becomes two again. Would this custom job really make that much of a difference if you are running FI?

From what little bit I know, the X pipe built into the greddy is benificial. I woud advise against replacing it with individual piping. In terms of using it on a TT kit, I plan on running mine with my APS kit without modifying it. Isn't the Greddy EVO2 exhaust what Greddy would advise running with their kit?

I don't know what greddy advised but that piping looks awfully small for a TT set up. I guess the back of the exhaust fooled me.

I am doing this as we speak. Car is in the shop. The X pipe on the Greddy exhaust equalizes back pressure. Not so much of an issue in a TT set up. Yes, it is somewhat restrictive, part of the reason Greddy is releasing an Evo exhaust specifically for FI.

Please post pics of your set up when it is done. Are you putting resonators on each pipe as well? How much is your shop charging for this?
