Default Bov

I was just wondering how a BOV on a supercharger works. When you are at idle it will always be blowing air, then as you push on the throttle the intake creates a vacuum in the vac line going to the BOV, and closes the valve, then when you let off on the throttle it opens (less vacuum) the valve and releases the pressure in the system.

Is this correct?

No you have it backwards . When at idle and cruise , you have more vacuum and that vacuum along with the air preasure from the blower ...opens the BOV . When you step on the throttle vacuum goes down and the BOV closes
