Default Getting Ready For Fi, D-gauges Installed

I just installed my new gauges. They are Defi D-gauges. They look great, very happy with the way they look. I am anxiously waiting for my aps tt kit. I orderd it from Roshan at Brainstorm in LA about a month ago. It should be here by the end of the month.

The gauges I purchased from Sharif at www.forgedinternals.com. I have to say that Sharif helped me every step of the way and answered all of my questions.
Thanks for the help Sharif.

What do you guys think?

Gauges are cool i have the boost gauge. I think it kinda looks good in those locations but it also kinda doenst. I say it does because it wont draw attention from theives or cops because they look like stock. On the other hand u lost a couple gauges that might have some importance. Like the oil, and the first one that reads , the mph, tire pressure, stopwatch, RPM warning ect.

wow...the gauges look great in the center gauge cluster. Looks like an OEM fit in terms of color, and the amber glow.

Glad you both enjoyed them!

Does the shift light still work when you replace the trip computer? Hmm... You could probably remove that small LCD and find somewhere else to mount it. Must investigate...

yes the shift light still works. It stays at the setting it was at before the trip computer was unpluged. I was also thinking of relocating the LCD screen to but not sure how hard it would be. I haven't really missed it to much, maybe i'm still exited about the new gauges.

The thing about those 3 center gauges (stock) is that they all share the same circuitboard. So it's either all or nothing, unless someone wants to invest the time of splitting them up.

That would be the BF series. LIke my avatar, but I was reading somewhere, that you can remove the last one but not the 1st or 2nd. The 1st two are on the same board. Don't know tho. I wish I could remove the 2nd and 3rd.

Correct...all of the D-Series gauges are electronic, except for the boost gauge. So they all do the dance...except for boost.

do d-guages need a "controller?" or are they just stand alone gauges?

No the D-gauges do not need a controller. I believe you are thinking of the D-link gauges.

only comes in bar unless they just released one. In my avatar the bottom guage is the turbo guage. It reads up to 2.0 bar which is 15psi or something. its like .07 bar per 8psi.

the far right gauge can be separated from the other 2. It has its own circuit board.

What did you have to buy to make them fit like that?
I was thinking of doing two of mien on teh pillar and then my AEM WBO2 gauge in in place of my volatge gauge. Please advise.
